PROJECT 1
Euphoria: Organic Bath Salts
Euphoria is a business that sells organic bath salts. For this particular project I mainly wanted natural, earthy colors to resonate with the purpose of the bath salts being organic. The branding needed to be elegant and minimal as it spoke about detoxifying and cleansing, which called for a clean design.
The Core Values of the Euphoria are:
-
Purity
-
Cruelty Free
-
Magical Feel
-
Rich and Elegant
-
Minimal and Clean
Thus, the brand would have some characters for its different scents and a very delicate look altogether.

MOODBOARD:

I started with a very warm and magical mood board. I wanted to have lots of muted warms with a touch of delicate and gorgeous fonts. I also wanted lots of nude shades to the brand.
To give it a magical look I initially started with some sparkles and symbols, but then went ahead to make full fledged fairy-like characters for individual scents.
For the logo, we have 2 variations. The fonts selected give a classy look to the project and also keep it minimal and clean at the same time. I wanted to use an arch somewhere as an arch represents timeless grace.
I finally chose 2 logos that resonated the most with the brand values and created the design.

PROJECT 2
House of stories: Second Hand Book Store
House of stories is a project based on branding for a book store that sells second hand books. The main objective that I had while designing for this brand was to use the "used books" as a symbolism for something vintage.
The core values of the brand are:
-
Recycling
-
Finding home for old books
-
Timeless
-
Precious
The challenge here was to make a timeless design and yet keep things a tad bit modern as most of the shoppers would be youngsters looking or old books. The palette chosen represents hues of old books. And green stands for prosperity and knowledge.

MOODBOARD:

For creating the basic guidelines for the branding, I looked up bookstores from the old times. Classic ones. And the currently existing old books stores.
I also borrowed a lot of inspiration from the 2020 "dark academia aesthetic".
The main goal was to transport the person back to the era of typewriters and tiny book stores so that they value the old books and choose them over new ones.
The house symbol in the logo represents that each book is a home to a story (not just from the book, but also from the past owner).
I also wanted to add a little wildflower in the logo to throw in some dainty elegance.

PROJECT 3
Gobbles: Vegan Ice Cream
Gobbles as the name suggests is an ice cream brand that sells vegan ice creams. The brand had to be something cute and friendly to represent that the brand is a friend of the animals.
The core values of the brand are:
-
Animal Friendly
-
Extremely appetizing at first glance.
-
Fun and Lively
-
Treats for everyone
The brand looks at making extremely delicious ice cream while being cruelty free, so the forefront should look extremely yummy while having the message of being vegan in the background and not vice versa.
People should approach the business for buying a delicious sweet treat and not just to support a cause. It should look good that even a person who is not vegan wants to try it. The palette chosen is pastel and bright, also depicts ice cream flavours.

MOODBOARD:

Initially I started with a very sunny palette and design as ice creams are more popular in summers. But then I decided to stick with the theme to make it look edible, nit just the ice cream but the entire brand. I decided to use a chonky font and play around the alphabets.
The brand needed to be playful, friendly and have an overall happy vibe. So, that's when I got the idea to tweak the Bs into little characters.
The little Bs are hungry ice cream eating monsters and have taken a bite from the letter L.
For the secondary logo I decided to play with the alphabet G and create a character holding an icecream cone.
